The objective of scientific and technological initiation and innovation is to provide undergraduate students with the first contact with research and development. This first contact is expected to awaken the affinity for research, technological development, and innovation. Students will interact with researchers and their teams, and contribute to the development of their research. The undergraduate students can participate voluntarily in a scientific initiation and technological initiation and innovation project. It is also possible to apply for grants from development agencies, requested by the academic advisor. Students interested in participating in an initiation project should seek mentors whose work is in the areas of their preference.
