Entry and Admission

Entrance

Admission to the DEQM postgraduate program is through an internal selection process, which takes place twice a year, with applications generally opening in April and September. The application forms follow the university's model and are submitted online through the application platform.

For registration, the required documents, in addition to personal documents and data, are: old registration (if you are a PUC-Rio alumnus), school data, languages, professional experience (last 5 years) two letters of recommendation, curriculum (in pdf), School Records (in pdf), memorialIt is also necessary to specify how the course will be financed.

Admission

Based on the generated application, the Selection Committee analyzes the candidates, and the results will be available on the same platform. Admission is done in two stages: 1) Enrollment and 2) Choice of subjects. In the first stage, the following documents must be submitted in person (or by proxy): Birth or Marriage Certificate; Transcript and Graduation Diploma for Master's programs; Transcript and Master's Diploma for Doctoral programs.

Scholarships

There are three categories of scholarships: exemption, funding (CNPq, CAPES), and those provided by projects or agreements. All approved and enrolled candidates in full-time Students are exempt from paying tuition fees, and the granting of scholarships depends on availability.
